French Beans Bhaji Recipe
Ingredients
400g French beans cut into small pieces
2 potatoes cut into small cubes
1 dried red chilli
2 tsp. jeera dhania masala (cumin and coriander powder)
½ tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. mustard seeds
1 tsp sunflower oil
Salt to taste.
Method
- Heat the oil in a small saucepan and add in the mustard seeds.
- When they begin to pop, add in the potatoes and the French beans.
- Put in the masala, turmeric and the salt. Stir.
- Cook on simmer, stirring frequently until the beans and potatoes are cooked.
Serve with pitta bread, naan or chappati
