When complete three tins stack up on top of each other and are sealed, through a simple locking mechanism, they are not intended to be water tight. The height of each Tiffin tin is 5.5 cm each and the diameter is about 10.5 cm, giving a volume of about 1,428 cubic centimeters. When fully assembled the Tiffin stands about 23.5 cm high.
